CARLSBAD, Calif. (Mar. 31, 2024) — Team TaylorMade Athlete Keita Nakajima claimed his maiden DP World Tour victory in style with a wire-to-wire win at the Hero India Open with TP5 Golf Ball and P·Series irons. This is the ninth win globally for Team TaylorMade in the 2024 season so far.
Keita set the pace early with consecutive rounds of seven-under, putting him firmly in the driving seat. This was followed by a four-under round of 68, setting up a four shot lead going into the final round at DLF G&CC, concluding with a round of 73 to round out a comfortable four-shot victory.
Keita has a combination of P·7MC and P·7MB, choosing the P·7MC for his long irons affording him extra forgiveness, then transitions to the P·7MB for the remainder of his irons ensuring extra control should he end up approaching from fairway or rough. Combined with four Milled Grind 4 wedges, as he finds the spin tread grooves allow him to target pins from a variety of distances. His bag is rounded out with a TP Reserve B11, which pairs the benefit of the pure roll grooves with the soft feel and crisp sound of a milled head. This all harmonising with the TP5 golf ball, as spin with wedges is something which Keita feels is extremely important in the game which made the golf ball choice easy.
