CARLSBAD, Calif. (Jan. 14, 2024) — Tommy Fleetwood produced a birdie-birdie finish to capture his seventh DP World Tour title armed with TaylorMade’s brand new Qi10 LS driver, the first professional win for the Qi10 series of drivers. Tommy started the day with a one-shot lead and held off the challenge of fellow Team TaylorMade Athlete Rory McIlroy to shoot a final round 67 and win by one. Fleetwood shot all four rounds in the 60s with rounds of 66-69-63-67.

Fleetwood averaged 308.25 yards off the tee this week with his new Qi10 LS driver, which is part of the most forgiving family of drivers the company has produced with the groundbreaking lineup of Qi10 Max, Qi10 LS and Qi10. This cutting-edge series unlocks a new frontier of forgiveness, with the Qi10 Max hitting the elusive total MOI (Moment of Inertia) of 10,000 g-cm².

Qi10 LS delivers a lower spin and lower launch that is engineered to optimise performance for players with faster swing speeds and higher spin rates. With a deep face and a more compact overall head shape.

In testing, Fleetwood found that he had tighter spin rates with Qi10 LS, especially on mis-hits, seeing about 400 RPM less spin difference on mis-hits compared to his previous gamer. He found that it launches a touch higher, with lower spin, and combined with the added forgiveness, he is able to hit the different type of shots he wants to without any sacrifice in distance.

In addition to the Qi10 LS driver, Tommy also gamed the brand new Qi10 fairway wood, which boasts the all-new Infinity Crown that provides a clean, uninterrupted view at the address which Fleetwood prefers. In testing during practice rounds at The Sentry, Fleetwood noted the feel off the face and the ability to hold the flight down and produce a variety of shots into the wind.

The most widely used version on Tour and among amateurs, the Qi10 Fairway is the perfect blend of distance and forgiveness, while the precision CG location delivers a combo of high launch and low spin.
